Race Format:
Varsity/ JV Skiers will form teams of two skiers. Skier #1 will ski a 3k classic course, then hand off to his/her teammate who will ski the same 3k classic course. While skier #2 is on the course skier #1 will change into skate skis. At the handoff skier #1 will then ski a 3k skate course while skier #2 changes into skate ski equipment. Then after the last handoff skier #2 will skate the 3k course.
Or in other words each skier will ski a 3k classic race and then a 3k skate race taking turns with their teammate. The race will be mass start.
Jr High Skiers will ski a 3k Mass Start Skate race.
Concessions will be available.
Coaches Information:
Race Entry $5 per skier. Checks made out to Ely Nordic Wolves
