KidSki Coaches Needed
Yesterday at practice (10/13/2007) Dawn Miller from the Snowflake KidSki Program came to practice and spoke about a great opportunity for the skiers on Marshall Nordic. Here is her letter of invitation to any skiers who were not at practice:
Thanks for allowing me to come and speak at your practice yesterday. KidSki really is a wonderful opportunity that is offered to the Duluth community and it takes a dedicated group of volunteer coaches to pull it off. We are looking for energetic, committed coaches who would love to pass on their love for cross-country skiing to 4-12 year olds. For those of you who were not at practice it is not too late to sign up to become a volunteer coach. KidSki meets at Snowflake Sunday afternoons for 8 weeks starting Dec. 9th (no classes Dec. 23rd or 30th) with two make up days on March 2nd and 9th incase of bad weather. For more information or to sign up please contact me at 218-340-6505 or youngrend@mac.com by Nov. 23rd.
